RETAKE No.1

On International Women’s Day 2020, join the Maconchy Quartet at the Tabernacle, Notting Hill for the first in the RETAKE concert series. Taking inspiration from London’s longest running new music concert series, the Macnaghten-Lemare concerts, we will revisit the programme which premiered Elizabeth Maconchy’s first String Quartet and Grace Williams’ Sonatina for flute and piano. Then, hear the world premiere of a new string quartet by Alex Paxton, and Amy Beach’s Theme and Variations for string quartet and flute.
