West London’s beloved Panto is making a flying return to the Tabernacle this Christmas with the magical, Peterbello Panto.
The Portobello Panto began more than 30 years ago in a pub on the Portobello Road. Since then, it has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for local charities. Despite the ample glitz, at its core the Panto is a community event that brings together artists, performers and children from the local area to have fun, entertain the crowds and raise money for good causes. As ever, the Panto is reliant on the work of volunteers to get the show on the road.
After our 2023 production, Theres no place like Grove. raised over £11,000 for our charities, this year we are raising money for the Shepherd’s Bush Families Project, Sistah Space and for school supplies at The Barlby Road Primary School. The funds raised every year for these organisations are vital at the best of times. With that in mind, we’re determined to raise as much as possible this year.
